В Ленске для осужденных, отбывающих наказание в исправительном центре, сотрудниками организовано празднование масленицы, сообщили в УФСИН Якутии.
В рамках праздника осужденные смастерили соломенное чучело, которое является символом уходящей зимы. Участники мероприятия угостились блинами и сладким чаем, исполнили народные частушки и приняли участие в традиционных забавах: катании на санях и хороводах.
Проведение таких мероприятий способствует приобщению осужденных к принудительным работам к культурным ценностям, отмечают в ведомстве.
