Команда физкультурников Якутии сегодня, 3 сентября, в городе Владивостоке вышла на старты III-го открытого Кубка Дальнего Востока «Игры ГТО». Состязания проходят в рамках Восточного экономического форума-2024 (ВЭФ-2024). Игры объединяют 11 команд Дальневосточного федерального округа.
«Из Якутии во взрослой команде выступают 6 лучших спортсменов, которые прошли отборочные соревнования в улусах . Игры на острове Русском начались с соревнований по плаванию. Сегодня нам предстоят гонки на велотранажерах и забег на 400 метров. Финальные состязания состоятся 8 сентября на «Арене ГТО», - рассказал член сборной команды Якутии Михаил Чупров.
В Дни проведения ВЭФ-2024 на «Улице Дальнего Востока» организована «Арена ГТО». Во Владивостоке собрались лучшие представители субъектов ДФО, а также неоднократные победители и призеры соревнований по многоборью ГТО.
В прошлом году среди взрослых команд субъектов победителем стала Сахалинская область, а среди команд школьников победу одержал Приморский край.
